About my PR work

Having worked previously at a press agency based in Birmingham as senior photographer and assistant picture editor I understand both sides of the business and am pleased to have great working relationships with many of the top UK and Europe based PR agencies.

I have weekly contact with regional newspaper The Express and Star as a regular freelance photographer.

I am an expert in producing strong eye-catching imagery for national/regional newspapers and magazines. Because of my experience I know exactly what picture editors want from a photographer.

I have produced imagery for top brands and events such as Sainsburys, Ambre Solaire, Hello Digital, Taylor Wimpey Homes, King Sturge, Bodies Revealed, Tesco, Morrisons, Virgin, URA Star, Innkeeper's Lodge, Arriva, Woodlands 11 Year Gala, St John's Choir, Fort Shopping Centre, Snoremate.

I specialise in providing national/regional newspapers with stunning digital imagery, working to tight deadlines with facilities to send pictures from location for immediate use if required, at competitive and cost effective rates.

In my position of Picture Editor at the Express and Star Newspaper, I have employed Dan Graves, in the role of a freelance editorial photographer for over three years.

This role involves working in all areas of Staffordshire and the West Midlands. The role of editorial photographer requires working to tight deadlines throughout the normal working day with all images requiring detailed captions.

In brief, work varies from business features, court snatches, everyday news, sport (football matches etc) and general editorial work.

Dan always works with enthusiasm working well with staff photographers. Dan’s work is always of a very high standard, and always produced within our tight deadlines.

I would therefore not hesitate in recommending Dan to other photographic agencies etc.
